The Waldo Phoenix is a local newspaper based in Waldo, Florida, dedicated to bringing community news to residents since 2010. Founded by Penny Dodd with a vision of providing Waldo with a reliable source for local news and information, the paper served the community under her guidance until her passing in 2021, when Jason Floyd took on the role of editor. In partnership with the Waldo Area Historical Society, The Waldo Phoenix also works to help preserve and share the rich history of Waldo, FL.
